My first silver was a while into last year, so it was a very nice surprise to find my 2nd silver (first of this year) on my very first official hunt of the year ! Hey, I know a Merc might not be as big of a deal to those in areas where silver is still more plentiful, but the way the public...

This has been my first year of regular CRHing. It has been a good year too. God has blessed me with surpassing my goal of 100 silver coins FTY.

Here are all my hunts from November. :D I was really blessed this month with my finds, which included my first ever CRH Mercury dime, 2 different variety Canadian silvers, and even a roll with 3 silver coins! Total I searched just over 6 boxes of coins; below are my results:

Been a while since I posed an update. Here's the results of October's boxes of dimes. I got my first proof, which is also silver, and a few mercs, old rosies, and 3 almost BU rosies.
TQ for looking and good luck.
Well it's been some time since I posted a CRH update till now. I have gone through quite a few dime boxes and this is my bounty. I was so thrilled to see the worn silver edge of the 1917 merc and old canadian, I am still hoping for a barber soon. I have averaged 2 silver per box, is this...
I had gone to 3 new 1800's permissions and found nothing remotely old. I decided to ask at one more house, I thought for sure that it had already been done. The guy said have at it and it had never been done before. I thought he was mistaken till my first target was a wheatie. I dug the...
I had a few free hours this afternoon to get some MDing in. I went to the old garden that a neighbor told me of...but it was a complete dud. So I decided to hit the house of the neighbor. I had detected his home quickly last Thursday but not thoroughly. My second signal gave me a 1-2 inch...
Well, I had a few hours this afternoon to get some detecting in. I went down to the same spot where I found my 4th IHP last week. I didn't get anything good in the yard so I decided to hit the curb strip. The very first signal I had produced this beauty. I almost died when I saw it in the hole...
Today I went hunting with Diggerjonny at a place 2 blocks from my house that was built in 1900. As long as I can remember it was always a barbershop. But now a guy has a computer repair service. So today I walked over and asked if I could hunt the curb strip and he said yea sure just fill in...
Well, I was out visiting my in-laws in NJ and decided to nail a park near their house that I frequent in the early morning before anyone gets up; the park I was told has been nailed for years and there's not much to be found other than clad, which is very true.
Regardless, last year I hit a 42'...
Was visiting the in-laws in Northern Jersey and decided to hit some old parks near their house - especially since the weather was insanely mild, so keep going I say!
Hit an old baseball field / park that shows on the maps as being there at least since the 1920's; found a ton of clad quarters...
