Can anyone help identify or date this button? Found in eastern PA near old farmhouse. Original inhabitants of property date to mid 1700s. Looks like it may have words “Double Plated” on it but hard to make out. Thanks!

Hoping to get an ID on a button I found last weekend. This was found at a Civil War related site near Kansas City - also found a couple fired CW era bullets within 10 to 15 feet of this.
Seems to be a cuff button, 0.6" in diameter. Can't really get any detail off the back, I guess it's a 2...
I merely googled this term, and found several not-too-helpful results. Are there a couple of go-to sites for antique buttons?

Two holes in the back.

I can’t identify the language on this button or what it might be from. Found it detecting on an old farm in upstate New York. It may be silver but I have not tested it. It is the size of a dime( I found this 1937 merc on the same hunt). Any help is appreciated.
UPDATE: I cleaned the find with...
I believe these are just basic everyday wear buttons for farmers or other civilians but not sure as the age. Several are small flat buttons and two are dome shaped. They are brass and are wafer thin, causing me to believe they are pretty old. Can anyone confirm?
I'm pretty sure the bottom word is Kentucky...but I am not sure the top word is "Old". I looked up "old kentucky button" in Google with no luck.
This was found at an old home site in west TN.
Anybody ever seen one like this?
thanks
