Sheesh. I just asked a simple question, and the D2 fanboys go right into bizarre attack mode.
It's a legitimate question, no doubt about it. Seems like alot of assumptions here, and I'm not purchasing a machine with a price tag like that on the assumption it may or may not be covered if water intrudes. So one day I hit the dirt, the next day I forget to turn the plug. Take a dive and uh oh, my machine is drowning! Well it's my fault, so I guess I'm SOL ...
