At the factory job I lost 2 years ago, everyone got $500 bonuses, before they had to lay-off 2/3 of thier 1800 person workforce. Now, at the part-time job I have, I get a $32 bonus.

WoW.... I feel for a few of you!! Some of you work for some seriously greedy people. All of us received $1000.00 cash and christmas Eve and New Years Eve off with pay. I was happy!

Our Bonus was alot better.
I work for a small engineering company, and thanks to Obama dollars the bonus this year was better than most on here, which I am both happy and sad about. I am happy as to it made a great christmas for my family and paid off some bills. I am sad that even though Obama and congress has spent the USA into the poor house that it never seems to effect the average man on the streets only the bankers did it really help. I do wish a Happy New Year to everyone and may a large amount of hoards/caches be found to really give someone a bonus!!!!!

Well we used to get bonuses "2 weeks pay" every year and they have dwindled down to a $50 gift card for Lowes.....which was still better than nothing. To my surprise this year I got a $700.00 bonus. It wasn't the 2 weeks pay we were used to years ago but it was a healthy amount none the less and a terrific gesture. Sometimes I think employers underestimate the power a year end bonus can have on employees......it really helps build pride in the company you work for.
