Why'd you choose that name?

I think I posted this in here before, but to reiterate...
My name is Ron and I served as a Navy Seabee between '69 - '73.

NEPA= North East Pennsylvania
Shooter= coin shooter

I, like several others, threw it together once i was convinced i HAD to register.

Jaybird has been my CB handle since the '70s back on the Plains of Nebraska. When I moved to Colorado in '78 I kept it. "Joyrider" had always been taken as I've been into old cars/Streetrods for over 30 years also---so I'm at least 31 years old. Actually 63. My wife says I'm only Middle aged until I ask her how many people she knows over 126. HH
Jay

I live in Milwaukee County and like to hit the parks so milco is short for that.

I was a door gunner while "working for the government" in South East Asia. :roll: My callsign was Hawk.

I "worked for the government" during that same era and that is where my screen name came from!:D

My first name is Bill but my last initial is not Z.
BillZ is a shortened version of BillZbub, a joke nickname given to me by some coworkers because I was known as being a nice guy.

Billzbub was my handle for a while but it turns some people off so I shortened it.

Ron,
I remember flying some close air support missions for you guys while you were out there "desecrating" the woods on your dozers. What would the "greenies" think about that? :lol:

Simonthesearcher gets my vote.....

For funniest reason why ! :) Hahhaha......Numbnuts ! Classic.
Mine started from the SCTV show. There was a character named "Unclemuley" who was a switch yard operator. I think he was played by Harold Ramis. He'd say "Poor old Unclemuley, stuck out here." Or something to that effect. Well it stuck and over the years it was .....UncleMuley, Mule then U. Mule and I figured why not "ewemule". Have had it ever since the beginning of hotmail and use it everywhere.
Great thread.

My first car was a 1968 Mustang... I kept it up until a few years ago and am beginning to regret it now, especially after I saw what the new owners did to it!
Back in BBS days I was known as HomicideMan or Strangler, usually with wierd capitalization or numbers/ characters (before '733t sp33k' was popular). I'm less morbid now so I have a better screen name :)

Mine came from an anscestors last name in Scotland. I americanized the spelling due to other persons screen names used on other forums many years ago.
