My user name comes from a Saturday Night Live dress rehearsal sketch where Will Ferrell plays an old prospector named Gus Chiggins. The sketch is hilarious, especially because all of the cast members are cracking up the whole time. Also, although I'm not very old, the name somewhat applies because I am a geologist by trade, and prospectin' is the name of the game!

My on-line nick name goes back in history, before computers...
"Dusty" was given to me by a high school girlfriend. I came in from the farm and I was all "dusty".. She tagged me with that nick from then on.
"Eagle" came from when I first started chatting on some MSN chat rooms. As I was trying to think of a cool nickname, "Dusty" came to mind again..and "Eagle" came from another collection I have.. eagles. Statues of eagles, pictures of eagles, especailly bald eagles, belt buckles, key chain medallions, & pockets knives that have eagles on them.. you get the picture.
Hence.. "Dusty Eagle"
Truth be known, more people probably know me by "Dusty Eagle" than they do my real name...which is.. er.. um.... I forgot.

why did I choose this name ??

Well, I'm a bit of an old-timer and back in the 50's I was a avid hotrodder, and back in them days we would put a name on our cars. (only if it was hot) Because I was known to modify or change engines but leave the car looking stock I had a part time job street raceing for $$. We used to call those type cars "sleepers" or/and "wolfs in sheep clothing" hence the name el lobo, Spanish for "the wolf" Now ya know

I have had my name about 15 years. My sisters boys like to play video games, the shooting kind and they use to get me to play with them. Well being that I don't play video games I was always the first one to die{In about the first 30 sec.} hence the name RIP.
