Yeah, but there's a huge difference between beach hunting and turf hunting. I dig EVERYTHING on the beach. It's just too easy to dig it up. It take 10 times longer in the grass.

Really nice ring Steve. Thats really a low number of tabs to pull gold. I would definitely dig more tabs if that was the case. I have resigned myself to coins and if a ring shows up so be it.

I've been at this for three seasons now. I never pass up a pull tab signal. I dig them by the thousands. I've also found 25-30 pieces of gold jewelry. I think that's more than most park hunters get, although I'm sure some do better.

The trade off is that I don't find that many silver coins. In this part of the country there aren't that many to be found so I can live with that.

Having take a concept as you had to dig 70 pull tabs the ring is really deserved
