Where is your Metal Detector?

ace250 in trunk to quickly detect anywhere. AT pro safe in closet so kids dont destroy it along with my sea hunter2 (rarely used).

Do you leave your detector in the car? Inside? In a bag? or Case?

My detector is currently in the back of the Suburban with a sweater or blanket over it. I don't know if I should get a case for it, maybe a soft rifle case or something.

hmm thanks for this, just came to mind I have a soft mt dulcimer case that might handle my MD.

Mine are in the office, the compadre next to my desk and the DFX laying across my office recliner to remind me to get out and use it instead of lounging around. It would be nice to keep one in the vehicle, but my truck got broken into a few months back and I just don't want to risk it. It's still too hot here in Texas to keep one in the vehicle without worrying about damaging the electronics.

Mine always sits in the corner of the dining room out of the way , or in my bedroom closet. Everybody else knows to leave it alone or face my wrath Even my wife , who generally has the last say on where thigs go in the house wont touch it because that is the one thing , besides my fishing stuff that I will go ballistic over and she respects that. I have never needed a case or bag for it.
