What does everyone do for a living?

Currently working as a night maintance and shuttle driver for a hotel owned by a local millionaire, it doesn't pay all that much, but then it isn't what i concider hard work.
I also work during the day for a lawn care business, the work isn't all that hard, but the interesting part of this job is everyone on the crew besides myself including the owner do not have their driver's licence.
I get in about 70-85 hours a week.

I never heard of a self-employed social worker. How do you do it?

Well my english is not good so I think thats what you call it. What I do is. I have a little company and when schools or the childrencare have problems with kids with behavior problems, they hire me to work with this kids. I then take them out and do stuff like metal detecting, gold panning, fishing, camping etc. Use a lot of time talking and listen to their problems and try to help them out with their problems. Hope this make sense.

I'm an HVAC/Plumbing designer for a small family owned engineering firm and I love my job.

No, really I do.

Shrubberies are my trade. I am a shrubber. My name is Roger the Shrubber. I arrange, design, and sell shrubberies.

Seriously though, I'm a Tax Examiner at Big Brother (aka IRS). I'm going to be applying to The University of Texas soon to try and get into their website programming position. A man from my church does it and said I should too. After training, you program sites for the university's website and behind the scenes stuff.

I've worked at an Agricultural Experiment Station for the past 30 years. 25 of that was for a Ag Engineer. Now I work for a Wildlife Biologist. I enjoy anything outdoors. Hunting, fishing, indian artifacts, relics, bottles, rocks, fossils, bird & wildlife watching and digital photography. Aging Mom and 5 Grandkids take up the rest of my time.

My first post on this forum

I am new to the forum, although I am no stranger to the metal detecting community. I have been detecting for about 8 years now, and I am addicted!!

As far as my profession, I am in on-line marketing and advertising. I sell marketing programs to IT companies looking to reach qualified prospects for their products and services. The buzzword is "lead gen" or "lead generation". You will begin to see more companies using lead generation to reach potential customers. Auto dealers are spending more and more dollars on lead gen marketing and less and less in traditional mediums.

I am looking forward to getting to know all of you here at "friendly"!!
