I would like to find a gold coin only because it seems to be the epitome of the hobby. Would like to find a barber half found great stuff but for some reason after nine years that coin eludes me yet all my hunting buddies have at least 1. As for PA DIGGER if you dug all you say you dug with the exception of two coins you need that the US ever minted my hats off to you cause you are probably the best metal detectorist I've ever heard of.

hehe i have only 4 coins left on my wish list for my first year detecting sofair i have dug one of every coin type except a bust dime a standing libery quarter and a barber dime and a 5$ gold coin. if i get those 4 coins befor may 23rd i have dug atleast one of every coin type made by the usa

A v nickel or a Flying cent.

I got lucky and dug a 1903 v nickel 2 days ago it was 15 feet from where I dug a 1879 Indian head penny over the weekend. Both were a first for me. 4 months into metal detecting and I'm finally starting to find older coins.
