Praying for you and your family brother. Hope all goes well.
Noticed the delta in your signature, is that the wife's swinger?
Place looks perfect. We tried the same in Atlanta, but you cannot get any reasonably priced land 60 miles out from Atlanta or even between Atlanta and Chattanooga. So we stay on our God's little third of an acre we have been on since 1982.
Get some goats. There is a good market for goat meat and they will keep your lawn and other low brush from overrunning your place.
Happy for you guys!
That's great! Your new home looks like a special place to raise your grandkids. Spacious interior and beautiful property... what a blessing! Reading your posts on this thread reminded me of when my family was engaged in a home search (shortly after my grandma died & our caregiving years ended). Like you, there was one house in particular that we really wanted. Though our highest offer was denied, we kept praying for God's will, and left it in His hands - knowing His way is always best! Long story (somewhat) short, even though the house went off the market for a while, the Lord answered our prayers - the needed funds were provided and our next offer was accepted! Thanks for the all the prayers and the Lord's will. VA appraised higher than sell price. Looks like we're closing the 27th!! ....

It's good to hear that your offer was, too... enjoy making many wonderful memories in your new home! (And maybe some nice recoveries, too. )
