If I could land a site like that, I'd just change my address and never leave.

Was using the etrac, I think the coin was on its side, and at first it came in a 43 but after turning my body several times around the target I was able to get it to talk to me as the number jumped around 43,46,48,49 ...I knew it could be silver where the icon showed on the screen, so I decided to dig it, but didn't expect THAT kind of silver.

Thanks Mud... it was the hunt of a lifetime and you're right I couldn't stop looking at my finds. I hear some hunt all their lives and never find a silver dollar so I do feel blessed to have found one. Getting to share the moment with a great friend was icing on the cake too. Never imagined to have have a day like that but sure happy I did!

I know right, and I doubt that will ever happen, although as you see this site may give up something even better...who knows really, but the potential is there.

They call them "over bow and under bow" I learned while researching it. I may have it backwards, but I think the cc under bow is a but more rare... no matter where the MM is located we found a 141 year old coin! Congrats on yours!
