I don't ignore coin signals just the foil signals

Don't do that. I've dug small gold in the foil range with the Deus before. You're going to find lots of rings with it.

That's a cool badge, congrats!
I see it's a good relic machine, however, the CTX3030 silver find's are missing in the Dues thread, one war nickel, on the 1st hunt , when you consistently kill the silver with the CTX3030, i am watching your post's Vic, you are the perfect hunter to get a great review on the Dues, i haven't seen , so far, i know your also learning the machine i will keep in mind, but I don't have the urge to sell the F75se only to rush out to get a Dues , Thank's Earl

I here ya , but have faith in Vic, for a full review, i was looking at the Dues, but being made over sea's, battery in coil, along with coil cost's( double) of a CTX3030, is a turn off, so far, I haven't seen from C W's hunt's so far, anything better , than my F75se would pull, so i don't believe at this point , any hype, Choppa has one to, maybe he will also chime in, so far it look's good in heavy iron & trash, however i usually avoid those area's if i can, thank's Vic, i will look forward to your yard hunt thread's, it would be cool , if you had a partner running side by side hunting with a CTX3030, for comparison, that would be great , happy hunting , Earl
Cool badge! I remember finding one similar a few years back. Those old tv show or radio show related items, that connect to a certain time period, are pretty cool.
But Vic i can get 9 inches on a dime, with the 5 inch coil on the F75se howboutit, did you pull any silver ?
It a prior 1964 built school or newer school
the nine is a deep coil I can hit 12 inch silver with it and have 9 1/2 inch merc in my gareden that it tags. Will the deus outperform the ctx coinshooting I will let you guys debate that issue. for relics imo best in the business but you guys seem to be in the coin shooting business and it will be interesting to see what a skilled detectorist can do with it coin shooting. At the end of a 6 hour hunt I notice my back hurt and my shoulder when I swung the ctx and the deus not so much. I look forward to seeing your review too. gl and hh
I can easily say the ctx rips the heart out of a deus when it comes to cherry picking. I can tell you if it's a fatty Indian compared to a later Indian, early wheat compared to a later wheat etc etc.. the deus is a great machine but it's vdi is horrible!!!!!!!! It was not meant for coin shooting and I totally understand that

I get exactly what your saying about the vdi but the tones full tones gives very nuanced details about targets that takes some hours on the machine to figure out. I am in no way saying its as good or better at coin shooting than the ctx. I am saying a experienced user of full tones can cherry pick a little if they want too from tones (full tones) by the info provided thru them. Can I call a good target the majority of the time you better believe it, Can I tell its a coin well yes and no alot of flat buttons sound like coins but alot of times I can call it. I cant tell you its a 1949 wheat though you got me whipped on that deal!lol What im saying is this imo the deus audio is the key to unlocking the machine more so than the ctx with its screen and target trace. I became proficent with the deus first and I never could get used to screen watching the ctx because I had gotten used to digesting that info thur tones and not by looking at the screen.Plus there was no need for me to do that relic hunting, I think the ones who start with the ctx have the same dillema going from the screen and trying to get the info thur the tones. Im not saying I dont use the vdi on the deus I do but the info comes from the tones. Heres a senario you get a 94 on the vdi and you think hmm could be a silver but you know from experience that silver has a higher tone ,most likey a piece of brass if the tone doesnt match the number. That comes with many hours of use though, where the numbers say one thing and you know tonal wise it doesnt fit. I can see where its harder to come over to deus than to go over to the ctx because instantly I can understand a 12 /42 is a dime but with the deus I have to learn the nuance of the tones and that takes time. I dont mean the vdiis off all the time because alot of times it nails the target. Hope that sheds some light on the deus and how it works. BTW because the machine is so nuanced in tones I run full tones the whole time in ALL my programs so I get the same audio and dont have to deal with changes in it, take your coins, wheat, indian, silver dime clad etc and lay them out and listen to them in full tones and you will see what I mean about being nuance it gives a slight tonal variation on each coin and if your ears get trained to that (takes time) you will dangerous with the deus. It also has what ive heard desribe as a roundness to the tones over coins, your ears have to get adjusted to that. The info is there on the deus its just processed a different way than the ctx ears verse eyes imo
I understand what your saying about modern trash being tough, I do hunt alot where sites have lasted up to modern times and trash is horrible, but there is something about the tone when you get over a coin or a good button alot of the times. Its not just the HIGH tone its the structure of the tone ,I really dont know how to explain it but maybe some other experienced full tones users can chime in on the subject. It has a round sound to it I know that doesnt make sence but if you ever here it you will know what im talking about. Since your that good with the ctx the deus might never fit into your coin shooting arsenal though.
