Sand scoop problems

Max/ Reply back

I here ya Max,i did use your scoop maker's scoops for an (example only) however since your so sensitive to posting anything from S i took site in seeing a negitive post from you,SO just for you i edited my post, removed the manufacturer's name,as far as sponcor Chuck's 720 it is a nice set up,the extra weight in the water will help you, when you insert the head, less effort,i have 3 sunSpot's now,if i get another ,maybe on day chuck will make a 820,now i have no reason to go 1 inch less wide, and 3 longer,i do like the 8 wide 12 long,if he made a 820 i would take a 8x13 another inch,i was going to get a 720,to try out,but waiting, glad to here your going to give the 720 a spin, again happy holiday's,happy hunting,Earl :back2topic:

I think i'm going to go with the RTG PRO ALUMINUM MINI WATER SCOOP (#733). It's 5x9'' and 3 lbs, and for $99 I think it's a good compromise of quality and practicality.

What I'm hearing most people say is that they need a large scoop to get the target before the next wave comes and moves it. I'm not detecting in the water, so I can take 2-3 scoops to retrieve the target. I will be in the dry, wet, or tot lot, so I don't think I need anything like a stealth or stavr. They look like amazing tools, but maybe overkill (and over budget) for me.

Does this reasoning sound right?

Max reply/ Stealth 8 I like Them

I disagree probally the reason is if i hunted in disc i wouldn't want a big scoop because, you don't need a 8 wide, you miss the deep layden gold,i hunt in all metal 95% of the time, digging deep targets, sure the vlf unit's have disc, but i mostly only use disc if i have to in dry, or very trashy, or iron infested section's,if i go thier at all,ya i admit that you do dig trash up to,but don't miss the deep layden gold from hunting in disc, ocean city down by the inlet,i hunted following a guy in the wet sand,he had his excal 2 1000 in disc,i had the df cranked,he missed all the deeper target's,finally he asked me what are you using,i told him Surf pi df,i smoked him,and he admited it,i dig deep,a larger capacity scoop is needed less work ,recover more, finds the deeper gold, plain ,and simple, from your video's i have noticed that you are filming more from the dry or wet,not as much from the water,if i hunted the dry sand- alittle wet, plain and simple i would have a small light weight scoop, and hunt in disc if i was searching for fresh drop's,so i can't blame you for wanting light weight scoops, narrow, for digging up trash at shallow depth's,you will find in disc the fresh drop gold, but miss the deep, again glad to see your tring the 720,for the water, but really Max,you won't need it if you only hunt in disc, because you won't here the deep layden gold, well maybe, because the stealth steel and quality is heavy duty for water hunting, were the light weight steel is not as durable,it's like this,i can use my Si2 in the dry, wet, water, never ware's out, never complained about the weight,a well made quality, scoop with a 3 year warrenty, weighs more plain, and simple,:imo:,never tried the russian's scoop's,because im not a dry sand hunter,i would go with a RTG scoop for dry,but like i say,i can use the si2 dry ,wet ,water,I AM HAPPY,with the stealth 8s,sorry for our difference's in opinion, happy holiday's,give Jack a nice big bone, happy gerew club hunting,2013 please do add more eye candy, you slacked off a bit,the sea food look's great later Max

Hi,
It seems to me that you want a handle with a bigger diameter AND some type of texture, both minimize labor to get a grip. Fast sifting with many holes also helps. This hobby requires equipment that minimizes labor and maximizes results

The 720 is now my "in the water scoop" however I still use the Stavr for wet and dry sand, it all about the weight and how long I want to hunt!

Merry Christmas and HH!

There is no way I would use one of those. That sand scoop looks like the worst designed piece of junk I've seen offered.

WAS 3 year,NOW LIFETIME WARRENTY ON past, and future ,ALL SunSpot scoops have a LIFETIME WARRENTY ,quality ,and a manufacturer that stand's behind there product.:clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping: http://www.gold-scoop.com/lifetime-warranty.html
You guys getting paid or what? Oh blip, give the cheer leading a rest. The StavR is superior and that is the truth. You don't need a warranty on those. They just work and faster than those beaked scoops. Don't let the waves cut your leg open. Carry a belt to cut off the bleeding. Warranty.

:cheer::cheer::cheer::cheer::cheer::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::bouncie::bouncie::bouncie::bouncie::violin:sorry bro,you don't have a Lifetime warrenty on your scoop's,maybe you shouldn't have invested all your cash in scoop manufacturer's who don't back there product's:shock::laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing:,the Superior is classified,by #1 the warrenty, maybe one day your scoop maker, will be a sponcor, and one day have a lifetime warrenty backing his scoop's,otherwise ,get over it,happy 1/2 ahhh scoop hunting :laughbounce:
