Does anyone know anything about them? I see on another forum, lots of people like them.
I've just got one, having a ball learning it, loads of potential.
You can set the khz anywhere between 4-18khz

That brick test is pretty amazing.
I could actually put 2 of the bricks side by side so as to totally swamp the coil and still get the same result, decent little machine.
Does anyone know what the recourse for service is here in USA?
I am tempted to buy, but sight unseen and with no US dealer to rely on, I'm on pause.
Looks like an amazing machine!
I got a very similar response from Laura at Detecnicks, recommending waiting until the software update, one or two weeks. She also told me that she personally owns the previous model, Rutus Jupiter, and there was one small issue resolved quickly after that no problems over years of use and ownership, and with Rutus' service and resolution of problems for customers being excellent. I am going to nail down the service procedure and costs to ship if repair is needed and then make a decision. It looks like a very nice and reliable detector.
