Equinox 900 and Manticore 🤔

Does anyone here have a bit of experience with both? I’ve been using the 900 for six months and I really like it. I’m really understanding what it’s telling me and I’ve found some amazing stuff with it. It actually paid for itself in three months. That being said the Maticore looks intriguing but I’m not really sure how much more it’s going to do for me than the 900 is already doing. I’d love your input. Thanks!

If EMI is an issue where you hunt the long press on the Manticore beats the 900. The Manticore is the best detector I am aware of at handling EMI. Depending on your ground the Manticore is deeper and has more stable I.D.'s. Steeper learning curve than most detectors. I'm not talking about settings. I'm talking about just getting in sync with what it's telling you.

Thanks for your input. EMI isn’t an issue where I hunt. I’m really in sync with the 900 right now so I’m in no hurry to switch to something else yet. I like Minelab machines and just wondering if the Manticore is something for me to consider.

I saw the Manticore sale but I wasn’t ready to buy something else quite yet. If I do buy something it will be at the end of the year and there are usually Black Friday sales going on. Just looking into things. Thanks

I used the 800 for about 4 years, I now have the manticore. Like all machines you have to play with them and tune it to your needs.
