MX Sport owners,,,important info

Kind of seems like all the brands are releasing new machines, with issues, some still have issues, but great customer service... Just give it some time, like all the other companies, they'll get it fixed. Since to be normal manufacturing practice these days, most cars have one or more recall issues. Still get recall notices for a Grand Prix I haven't owned since 2012 (engine compartment fire, subject of the recall...).

But reading this I'm left pondering the ambition to cut up and throw a long standing American company with a proven track record of unparalleled unblemished customer services...

Whereas..

Some of the same members were standing up for a brand new Turkish company with no record at all.. Racer this, Racer that, bunch of turkey talk! Funny they already came out with a Racer 2 lol...

In my small mind, it actually smacks of treason...

Is it easier to pick on Whites, the same as its easier to fight with a family member vs a stranger?

Just my thoughts on the whole thread...

I understand and agree with some of your concerns TNSS. But now you are coming off like you have some vendetta against White's. I would contact them directly with your concerns instead rehashing the same thing over and over. White's is tops in the biz for customer support and sure they have made some questionable decisions with the marketing and release of the MX Sport but Im sure they will make it right.

Where are the manufacturer reps,,explaining up front?

Even a gent who works at Kellyco explained about the CTX upgrade here on this forum.

And a rep of Makro explained on some forums,,,the Racer 1 bad coils.

The story,,what little there is posted about this detector,,,,doesn't seem to mesh with what really is going on.

I thought I asked some good questions here in this thread,,,,but didn't seem to get satisfactory answers-- from a customer standpoint.

I have bought this detector I have talked about and I sure can't change who actually manufacturered it.

I don't think I have told any falsehoods here concerning this issue.

I also provided recommendations here to the manufacturer,,,and guess what I'm not charging them a penny for my thoughts.

White's V3i upgrade and operators manual
Minelab CTX upgrade with waterproofing and arm cuff.

No free passes here folks.
And have owned every one of these detectors.
And this issue here I have mentioned on this thread,,,this is it seems being talked about on other forums.

History tells us what Whites was, present day actions tells us what they seem to have become. This discussion is trying to sort that out why a company with a great record now seems to take so many non professional actions. If the roar gets loud enough most feel that the hard of hearing new management in Sweet Home will finally take heed. We really do want a professional manufactured grade MXS that can be used day one instead of spending a huge part of its warranty life in multi pal shipments and factory repairs. Turkey this and Turkish that has nothing to do with this issue.

And let us also remember the man that did the review of the MX Sport for a detecting magazine was afraid to submit his real thoughts. He later stated he was hoping people could read between the lines. The entire release was BS. The old statement " I have never read a negative review in a detecting magazine" still holds true. I'll never buy anything in print from him again.

Please share with us the post where you "Expressed your concerns" about the Makro racer coil ears. As I remember it, you were doing nothing but defending the company and making excuses for them whereas the other companies you jumped up on the soap box and just tore them apart.

I actually put my concerns on spread out over 4 forums.

This issue you are asking about,,,I put it on the forum,,where the Makro rep was indeed a member and posting. They were not a member here yet I don't think.

If you want to read,,,by all means go to the different forums and search and find.

Also, did not see where you proved anything about your statements on used CTX prices. Newsflash: just because YOU believe something is true, does not make it so. The FACT is you cuddle the Makro people about their issues with the racer fallout BUT when it happens to any other company YOU think they should have had the foresight to see it coming. You pay no attention to the fact that Makro had to be shamed in to replacing the coils after a few owners posted copies of emails received where the company tried to put the blame on them.
I have a great idea, why don't you start your own company so you can show all these other companies how its done. I mean how did Whites survive these last 60 some years without seeking your advice as to how to run their business? Hopefully you will contact them and "save" them from financial ruin.

RE the MXSport or any other new model intro...In this day and age of the internet/Forum chatter, you just got to get it right from jump! .....Simple 'blocking and tackling' drills..I dont care if somebody has to personally inspect each rig on their weekends! Somebody has to be accountable.

Especially to Detectoriists! We are pretty hard on the evaluations, and rightly so...Time and Gold Wait for nobody! We got the money to buy...you gotta earn it though...dont try to dump some inferior gear off on us to be your 'in field test subject monkeys' and not expect a little chatter...

We aint golfers here...we get up and out early nearly everyday and are pretty hard on gear...Y'all should know this by now...We actually can increase or decrease your Sales based upon what decisions you make on the rollout....I'm still sitting on my money and watching your next move....We daily posters are your market "Persuaders"../..Your unpaid infield agents....

Did you watch what happened to the domestic automakers in this country??
This is very relatable here,,,but is the government going to bail out a metal detecting company???

The domestic auto companies got a break with the bailouts,,,and I think they have learned some valuable lessons.

This theme with this particular company,,seems to be running throughout,,if you will look around.
I have done my duty here,,have a clean conscience.

If anyone here has a question about any of my detectors,,,to include my views on performance,,manufacture support,,or anything I can shed that will help a person make a worthy decison purchase.

I will do my very best to help.

Metal detecting forums I think are supposed to be helping folks,,making friends,,sharing info.

As long as the truth is told-- no harm no foul.

I like this forum.

It seems though some things are off limits to some.

My recommendation is,,,if you don't like a poster,,or think they are misleading folks,,or whatever-- just don't read their post/threads,,and certainly don't respond to such.

I have traveled the world,,seen some big things happen from a industrial and electronics manufacturing perspective.

I think I know what most folks want when it comes to them spending their hard earned loot.

I enjoy talking to the members here.

But personal attacks,,and insinuations get us nowhere.

If you want results to the issue at hand instead of complaining about it on a forum it might be better to write the company directly with your solutions to the problem and you'll probably get more direct results.

Owning multiple detectors is not unique here and it doesn't make any of us an expert.

Enough haters? News to me. You are now telling me that you hate me over an internet post? Seems like you may want to try some of that self evaluation. Just like TNSS says, I call it like I see it. We may not see eye to eye but I do not candy coat. No name calling here just what I see and what I hear.
