I'm from Salem, but live in NH now... about 2 hour away.

There are a ton of places to detect in the Salem area. You guys down there should have no problems finding old relics if you do a little research.

I recently joined this forum, haven't even got my detector yet! I'm in the looking and research phase right now. Have it narrowed down to Garrett Ace 250 or the 350. Just trying to get some opinions from the experts on here.

I live in Pittsfield thinking it should be a good area to MD in?? Lot of history here!! Been doing a little research for digging sites also also. I need to hit the Library and find some old maps etc..

I'll keep ya posted on my progress! I'm taking this up to loose weight again! Get me outside and moving!! Lost a lot of weight before then tore my Achilles tendon packed it all back on!! Not being able to go to gym etc... Took over a year and a half to be right again!!
