knoxville tennessee??

Didn't win the Garrett :( Still looking for a good entry level MD. I am very limited with funds, so it might be a while before I can get started. The temptation is to get a cheap Chinese MD and start now, but I know I shouldn't. Maybe find a way to trade for one. Anyway, I don't need a partner for a while.

I'm in Knoxville, out west off Gallaher View. I have never hunted before. Just got an Garrett Ace 250. Where does everyone go around here?
 
Need a Metal Detecting Person in Knoxville

Hello. I used to own a metal detector but I could never master it, so I gave it away to someone who really liked it.

I am trying to find my property line, and in the front of my house are two metal pins that I need to find. I was told by the city that they are closer to the top of the dirt and not buried deep.

Would anyone be willing to help me find them? I can do the digging. I don't mind. Or if you like the "kill" you can do it. Either way is ok with me.

New w/ an F2 in Sevierville

I just received my new Fisher F2 yesterday, found a horseshoe and an unspent .22 cal bullet in my yard, don't think either was mine or my family's before. Can't wait for sunrise. Might be looking for a buddy after I read the manual.

Looks like this thread was started about 2 years ago. Just thought I would post see if anyone in the northeast tn (tri cities) area needs a metal detecting buddy or has any group hunts planned. Thanks

New to the hobby (tri cities area)

I just put my ace 250 together and dug up some old nails and a salt shaker. If anyone wants to form a group let me know. Maybe even start a facebook group :)

Hi, I also am from Kingston. Detector should be delivered tomorrow. I have several areas on Watts Bar Lake near Paint Rock Ferry Rd we could search....if I can figure out how to make this MD work.

Hi! I'm in Knoxville and looking for others in K-town to team up with for a Saturday hunt. Or maybe an evening hunt after the time change.
 
I live in south Knoxville TN. I'm new too but I have already tried a bit of beach hunting with (lol) limited success. Looking to find a few like minds..
 
New to MD

I saw your post this month. I live in the Kodak area near the 407 exit, and would like to get started MDing with others as well.

I am waiting for the arrival of my new minelab quattro I got a great deal on.
What do you use?

Let me know if you would be interested in sweeping some sights. It will take me awhile to learn my unit but I've already read a lot about it.
