I tore down a house a little while ago. It was built in 1850. Had all kinds of modern trash from the people that were living in it but we got it all cleaned out and started popping the walls off. To out amazement all the walls were 5inch thick hand hewn logs Any how the rats carried all this little stuff into the walls which I found when taking them down! Each board was like a treasure hunt. I figured I would share it with you guys. Got to love them Pack Rats!
cool lock!
This is really neat! A old school ink pen!
Awesome! A pipe! This one looks really old.
Blue Bottle. No markings. Has few bubbles in it.
Super old flask. The old guy that first lived in the house his dad built was a doctor.
It had a small bubble spot on the bottom. I forgot what they were called.
No markings. some bubbles
No markings bubbles. Looking from the side it appears the inside is really wavy.
Lots of little bubbles, and a "T" on the bottom
Cool corked bottle. Has Rex on the bottom.
I hope y'all don't mind pictures!!
No tellin what went in here!

I Have this big one.
And this little one, it's the FREE SAMPLE! Must have worked good cause they bought the big bottle
Then I found this little Jewel! It's not gold but MAN I THOUGHT IT WAS
It appears to be copper may be gold on top which has mostly worn off. It has a TINY inscription inside but I will have to get a magnifying glass to see.
I also found a lot of cool paper stuff.
A receipt for DR services. If only it were $4.00 today!! Notice the 1925 date!
This is by far the coolest piece of paper I have ever had! History questions on it.
Looks plain till you hold it up to the light! Then
Is this a water mark?
Now for the post cards...
This is a job posting all this stuff I need a break lol.
These post cards mention love, singing and dances all that mushy stuff. The ones that are marked are 1910!!
Family photo maybe? Old pics of children creep me out lol
Well that concludes the finds so far. I really hope you guys enjoyed looking! I would like to know thoughts, opinions, likes, dislikes, values, tips, and anything else y'all can come up with. Happy Hunting!
