Outstanding!! Congratulations!!
Thank you Digger, I may get in a couple more hunt,so that picture will come on the end of year report.Couldnāt happen to a nicer guy WTG!!!!!
A picture of the pile would be AWESOME!!!
Thanks Tom, your comment was very fitting. After making this report last night I ate, took a hot shower, put a movie on the TV, crawled into bed and passed out. Don't think I made it through the opening credits of the movie.Awesome!!!! Congrats Trapper!! Now you can sit back and relax! Well done my friend
Appreciate your reply Levi, thank you. This was an achievement accomplished with a awful lot of support from forum members and friends. Most importantly my wife as she put up with me being constantly gone. TrapperSuper Congrats to you Trapper. You were persistent and your persistence paid off. Good job
Again thank you for your support Digger, it has been appreciated through the complete year. Truth I thought 400 would not happen until this last Sunday on the hunt with IDX Monster. His suggestion to move to a different site changed the the rules.Awesome Trapper!!! I knew you could hit 400!!
You do have me laughing Jose. 500 may be unrealistic but what the heck. It is 0NLY 96 away and I have what? 12 days, in December mind you....might be challenging. May have to hunt a extra hour each day..... need to dig 8 a day,.....well.....maybe.... I guess it is doable.....Never doubted it for one moment, a big congrats to you Jack!!
Ok now that we got the 400 out of the way, we going for 500 next year?
Just kidding Trapper........well are ya
Appreciate your response Jeff, thank you. I did not every think I was capable of this kind of achievement. Time, effort and lots of support were the keys to my success. That and a love to play in the dirt. TrapperHUGE congrats jack! A milestone that few have hit, VERY hard to do, especially in the year 2018... Fantastic work!
Thank you Dan for the response. It has been a year of a lot of fun adventures and amazing finds. Having the time and making the efforts really made for some great memories.Holy smokes you did it! BIG congrats on the epic 400 milestone!!
Thank you Metal. This is been a very amazing year and I feel very blessed.I'm fortunate to get 4!
Bruce you are a great and wise man. Even with the great start to the year I never thought I would hit 400. More original first goals were to get to 1000 which I new would come as I only needed 81. The other was to top my best year at 232. 300 came on Sept 16th and I really thought maybe 350 would be the top as other commitments and weather stated to interfere with time. Even as of my last report I felt digging the last 10 would just not happen. The last site was the difference and a great surprise. Somehow I now feel relieved. TrapperFigured early on that's you'd get the 400 this season, Trapper...because you are tenacious like I am, never giving up on the hunt for the next silver. Congratulations on the major accomplishment, and hopefully you'll add some more to the count in the remaining days!
I want you to know how much I appreciated your support in this quest. I feel it came to be with your help, support and encouragement as well as AirForceMike's and Dewsweeper. It is as much yours as mine. I really had doubts it would come until our hunt on Sunday. A surprise site that should give us a lot more was the boost that made it happen. My only regrets is that I didn't listen to your suggestion to move a hour sooner and that Mike and Brad were not on site with us. Even with Brads prediction way back in Spring did I foresee the success of this year. Yes I did think I could top my personal best and even that 300 was possible. Having friends committed and as enthused like you three was really the difference. Thank you! TrapperYou amazed me the first day we met and have been amazing ever since Trapper. You have had one HELL of a journey from the word āGO!ā since you started doing this. All those hunts with bitter cold or buzzing mosquitos or rain or mud....blazing heat and cars with no mufflers,sirens,roots...and even pinpointers that never seemed to work like everyone elseās did....you put on that gear and hunted through all of it. Some wouldāve quit at 50,some at 100,even 200...300?...400??...you donāt know HOW to quit. People who possess a certain work ethic can apply it to anything they do and be successful. Those people are not quitters. And YOU my friend are certainly no quitter.
Congratulations on a monumental achievement. Perhaps others have done it,perhaps others may do it...but right now is your time to shine.
