Gold Rush: Alaska Tv show..

I this past episode they said the old guy across the creek makes $30k a day, WOW.

As for the other guys, the new guy the claim owner sent seems to know what he is doing, the other guys admit they have no idea what they are doing, so why not listen to him? That James guy is getting on my nerves. The new guy is trying to make money for all of them, he's experienced in mining so why don't the other idiots just let him do what he thinks will work? I know if my house and future depended on what I found, I would sure as heck listen to the guy who's done it before.

Yep. & it being a " hit show " [ somehow ] , the pay per episode can easily be 20-$50,000 per person,,,, per episode.

The first thought I had watching it (I just saw it for the first time a few days ago) is, if you were going to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on a mining operation wouldn't you spend a just few thousand on drilling samples first?

Or did they do that in the first episode, which I haven't seen?

The claim has been mined before and they state on the show that there is around 15 million in gold still on the claim, how they got these figures I have no idea. The 90 year old guy across the creek finds $30k a day in gold with his mining operation so there must be a significant amount in the area. The whole show is based on them fixing and breaking improperly built equipment and fighting with each other of the repairs.

Last nights episode: The owner of the lease and 20% partner in the mining operation showed up and wasn't too happy at their finds. He sent one of his mining buddies to help get things going, but they said he better not come in telling them what to do. Dorsey is gone so they needed someone else to cause friction.

That was a rerun.
Tonight , is supposed to be the final show. They need $275,000 in gold to " break even ," I think it was said.
Through someone else who supposedly knows,,, I was told how much gold they finally found . I will find out tonight if he was telling the truth. He was not supposed to tell, but he told me. I am not going to put the amount on here,,,, but only will say that they did not find that much. I think they would have been better off working seperately with just a pan !

Yes Thats what I read also... about 16 ounces of gold is all they found..
The RICH claim owner across this group..... is quoted in the Local Newspaper as having said it

pretty cool

i enjoy the show. I am still waiting on them to hit the honey hole mother load of over 400 ounces. .lol

I can't forget Gold Fever tho. with Tom Massey.. lol

if those gold rush guys were smart they would of had tom massey there, that guy can find gold anywhere

I missed the last episode...where does that big nugget they keep showing come from?

This show was just interesting enough for me to watch it in spurts, while trying to sleep.

I guess secrets are not kept anymore. A little over $21,000 I fall asleep during the show, too. That old man's " nasal,, whiney voice is about too much ! I can't believe the show was renewed for next year ! BUT, 65,000,000 viewers makes it a big hit !!

Wow i wasted my time watching it all this year.. i want them hours back lol...

i know the next one will be better because i seen the Gold he got something like a 4 oz. rock.

They are idiots. Never spend 2 dollars to make 1 dollar. A metal detector, a gold pan, a 4 wheel drive, a couple months of vacation, and a bank roll of discretionary income not a second mortgage on your house is how you do it. Or better yet apprentice yourself to someone who knows what they are doing first and learn on their time and their dime. IDIOTS!

Gee, sounds like me!!!!!!!!!!:lol::lol::yes::yes:
