So a possible plan - We pool our money and purchase a sweet piece of unsearched land. Everyone catches a flight and we have the first "Mega-Search-A-Thon" and clean it out. Next, since the land has appreciated a little, after hunting out the land, we sell the land for a profit and buy another huge piece of land...rinse lather and repeat until we hit 1 million dollars in land and coins. Not that far fetched?

Amazing isn't it!! I love these end of the year clad total threads! Just think how much coin is lost and not recovered. These numbers are just from one forum so the total dollar amount must really be up there!

2011 clad totals

Just adding my 2 cents to your totals. I mean my $233.00 in clad to your totals. I was wondering what the most amount of clad found in a year was. We hear all kinds of stories about silver and such that I think it would be a nice break to hear about some huge clad totals. I personally search for coins and mainly older/silver coins so my clad total isn't all that impressive but has anyone found say...over a thousand dollars? That's a lot of digging and a lot of coins. Well i'll quit ramblin for now but just thought it would be neat to hear clad stories for once.
