For You Smokers Who Want To Quit

I received the eGo you recommended, along with some juice, on Monday. I haven't smoked real cigs since. So far, so good. I received my Mt. Baker juice order today. I got blackberry and wintergreen, and received a free bottle of ecto cooler. They have an awesome assortment. The wintergreen is yummy. Tastes like wintergreen Lifesavers. Both are great companies to deal with. No more bad smell in my house and I no longer have to go outside to smoke at work. I work at a bar, and several of my customers that smoke have expressed interest in vaping after seeing mine. I'm sure there will be more when winter rolls around. Thanks Genu!

That's great Stevo.
Don't let your tank run dry. If you do, it will burn the wick where it goes through the tube and it will have a bad burnt taste all the time.

I quit a 2-pack a day 22 year habit back in '96.... best thing I ever coulda done,except startin' it in the first place.
 
And since I went to the ecig I seem to have a few extra bucks:yes:
BTW how long does a small bottle of the liquid last you guys?
 
What are your all-day vapes guys? I've tried a bunch of different ejuices and so far my favorite is just the plain old tobacco flavor from Apollo in a 60/40 VG/PG mix. Plenty of vapor and a flavor that's fairly close to real tobacco.

Only one I've had is a Virginia from ecig Charleston. Gonna get their Lave Flow(cinnamon and lots of good reviews) and another tobacco flavor tomorrow.

I was able to quit on the Chantix but after a year, I had one cig after a few drinks. Then I started again. The last time I quit, I was using an ecig. About 3 months in, I was at an all day event and my battery died on the ecig. I ended up smoking an analog (real cigarette).
I have the Chantix sitting on my dresser debating if I want to deal with the nightmares and irritability. I love the ecig but my husband still considers it smoking. When choosing a vaping liquid, make sure it's made in the USA and organic. An ecig will definitely help you quit, you just have to be patient to find the right ecig and juice. And always have a backup ecig battery!
 
Day 8!

Only used the ecig twice today. Once after coffee (Habit cigarette. Can't have coffee without a smoke.) And once at my niece's birthday party where a lot of other people were smoking. I'll likely use it again before bed, but 3 vapes in a day down from a pack a day before? I'll take it! :thumbsup:

I really hope to be down to either nicotine free vapor or no vapor at all by the end of August.

My favorite is a tie between VirginVapor's Organic Buttercream Mint and Organic Black Cherry Marshmallow. Both are awesome! Depending on the ecig and carts, the ratio of PG/VG differs. I would have Annette with Virgin Vapor customize the ratio according to the ecig setup. I have a few. 60/40 produces nice vapor and plenty of flavor.

I've only been using the 4 mg Walgreen brand fruit flavored gum. It's been 5 days without smoking and I've only used 6 pieces of gum today which is down from 10+ when I started. Last night was alot of dreams about having a smoke with my son in law, and the funny thing is that I was disappointed with myself in the dreams because I was smoking. I only had 2 episodes today where I was ready to buy smokes which is down from 3 times yesterday and I got over them really quick by coming to this thread and reading through the supportive posts.

A lot of information and some very friendly people. Sorry if the link has been posted already.

It is easy to be overwhelmed as a new vaper, if you are not careful, you will spend way to much money on bad products. The e-cigs that look like a cigarette, don't waste your money on them, start out with a product like the EGO with a clearomizer, a little more expensive, but, the quality of vape is much better.

There are some very unscrupulous people out there that will take advantage of people that are wanting to quit. Usually the electronic cigarette kiosks in Malls are the worst offenders.

I have been cigarette free for two years, thanks to electronic cigarettes.

80/20 mix of rootbeer from Mt baker is my all day vape but I also have a bunch of other flavors I've tried, the Swedish fish is good, the ocean breeze and maraschino cherry is also really good. its good ta switch up every now and then just for a change of flavor.....I use an ego battery with a 6ml cartomizer
 
Just got the cinnamon Lava Flow and thought I was going to die:laughing: If some one saw me when I tried it in my truck they had to think I was smoking something else. Gonna take some getting used to.
 
This is great guys. Y'all keep it up and more people will be quitting.
My sis has gone over a week without a cigarette using e-cigs.
I have tried about 10 different flavors. The black cherry and double apple is okay, but my fav so far is pina colada that was a surprise because I bought it for my wife and just gave it a try. I started out using the tobacco flavor, but I quit buying it to get away from anything that taste like a cigarette.

Y'all keep the reports coming and hang in there. It gets easier with time past not smoking. Just remember all the advantages.

As I mentioned before, don't let your tank run dry or the wick will burn and the bad taste will turn you against using it. If you burn the wick change it.
