If there is a falsing issue, I must not notice it
...When I was working my way up to full power as I learned the machine, I noticed some falsing in the 85-90 sensitivity area, but once I got to 99 and kept running it there, I don't hear it anymore. My current settings for land hunting, be it trashy parks, schoolyards, open fields, woods...anywhere besides a cellar hole/homestead site, are as follows...G.B.+3. Boost Process. Discriminate Mode, disc set at zero, sensitivity set at 99. 3 tone setting. Any questionable target, I'll switch to All Metal mode to help with a target i.d. but as time goes on, I find I don't need to do that much anymore...I see no difference in depth running in Disc vs All Metal, but I get a better target i.d. in Disc....At a cellar hole, I use the same settings, but run in All Metal mode mostly, because of buttons and other relics. I keep the 11" coil mounted at all times now, I got good at separating the keepers from the trash because of the constant 'bottlecap park' and 'pulltab school' hunting, several hundred hours worth. I still learn something new each time out, but it's all advanced training now, I graduated the basic course and am working on the MD doctorate now
