I actually feel you on that, it seems very black water-ish to me also.. In the past I worked in Pender, Duplin, and Sampson counties.

It was invented to be able to cruse the thin ice on the back waters of the Mississippi for trappers...

My words can be blunt and in text may come across as harsh or worse.

I can be very sarcastic and sometimes fall into an internal darkness of a depth I can't describe but it shows in words in ways I don't intend.

The name is my reminder to - softly open every heart I meet - which rhymes with - always wipe my feet - which is important in case I stick them in my mouth.

It's about being softer in tone & texture and trying to remember that common sense and sense of humor are subjective.

It's about kindness instead of coldness.

I am a disabled Vet and so my phical abilities are some what limited so I took up online gaming a few yrs ago and was called a Dreadnaught but due to the spelling that name is often taken so I altered it to Dreadnox and that is my online ID. I seldom find another Dreadnox so it works out and is easy for a forgetful old man to remember.
My wife tells me my forgetfulness is not alsheimers its just Part timers. LOL
