Dutchess County NY

Is the brick yard near the central Hudson gas works and the lumber yard that's out of business now. What points of interest are near the brick yard.
/QUOTE]

I have seen Bills post about this before but never heard of it (and I have lived here my whole life). I believe he is talking much farther north of the gasworks on route 9 in Hyde Park near the Culinary Institute of America. About the only thing I know about up there is a gypsy camp, everything in that area is either owned by the CIA or large developers or the federal govt.

Now, there is a hill right in the Town of Poughkeepsie on Route 44 that is known as Brickyard Hill, so his post has confused me each time I came across it...

Anyhow, I am frequently available on Mondays, some Saturdays and Sundays and I can probably be available other times if something comes up that is worth rearranging my life which consists of a 2 year old son a 7 year old daughter and the wife and I work full time... A lot of you guys and gals out there have already lived through this so you know where I am coming from..

Sunday

Are we still on for Sunday? I know we planned this about 2 months ago... the 6th?

Two stinkin barbers, 2 spoons, one token with a five on it and 1 silver Washington

I was out at one of the 1700s farm today. This farm has given up all sorts of great things in the past like a militia belt plate, New Jersey and Connecticut Coppers, a 1700s Irish coin, and a lot more.

Today all it wanted to give up was two barber dimes, a token with a five on it, a 64 Washington quarter, button and some buckle pieces, spoons and a whole lot of trash. after close to 7 hours of detecting my arm is tired from swinging the 17 inch coil.

Three silvers is quite a few for me since most of the detecting I am doing is where you are going to find old coppers.
