Dirt Fishing Contest!- ended 11-30-08

I while back I said don't sign me up. I changed my mind. Sign me up. I am technically a greenhorn, but if we are really short on veterans, I think the potential I've seen in my area could make up for my lack of experience. I'll let the contest admins decide. I'll work on getting paid.

Have three "groups". One group easter, one group central, and the other western. Deciding point amaounts can be left up to the admins. Personally I think this will complicate things way too much, but I'm just throwing some ideas out there. I like the "flat points" system better tham my idea though.

I messaged Relichound and found out no one claimed the free entry I won so I'll be using it. I'm in the contest now.

Oz, I would'nt be so quick to claim the last place slot. I sort of figured that would be reserved for me and dglfi. Now I got a new partner, "tin foil hat"
Sure hope he knows how to use smoke and mirrors,:wow: cause I may not be out much for the first couple weeks. I would have to pull a couple all-nighters at the pier to make up the lost time...:no:..Gil

Can we start a new thread with the final rules, points and all. I am confused.:no::no::no: My head hurts. I just wana dig. I am in NH next week and I am researching the area I am going to be in. Londonderry, NH. Man work is gonna wonder where the hell I am.:lol::lol::lol:

Yes.....I too believe this to be a good idea. Also, make the thread locked/closed so no posting can occur on it, and make it a sticky so it won't be lost. I too like RH's revised simple scoring system, with clad and wheats that can count for the vets. Please consider dcturtle's remark and my follow up, it would make things a heap of a lot easier. HH

Grinsebring, no worries, we are going to have fun. The great thing about last place is that we can openly taunt everyone. People will take great pity on us and tolerate our outlandish behavior.

And dont worry about pull tabs. I got them covered ! :lol:

ill start a new thread tonight with the revised rules,teams and point system and we will reserve this and the other threads for general discussion to keep the new one clear and not so confusing ;)
