I have really low audio using pinpont on the RC running beach sense. I tried re-installing 2.0 and that didn't work. Is this a known issue or is there a fix?
I'm hoping it's a firmware fart. I guess I'll try installing a previous version then install 2.0 again. My pinpoint no matter the version has always been wildly loud except when using headphones, then it is what I’d expect it to be. Clearly a glitch somewhere along the line IMO because people have reported it both ways…too much or not enough.
Never heard of that problem. I would definitely try to reinstall your software.I have really low audio using pinpont on the RC running beach sense. I tried re-installing 2.0 and that didn't work. Is this a known issue or is there a fix?
Do you have Pinpoint auto tune ON or OFF?I'm hoping it's a firmware fart. I guess I'll try installing a previous version then install 2.0 again.
Totally, wiggle back especially in trash is the way to goNever heard of that problem. I would definitely try to reinstall your software.
I personally use the coil drag back method to pinpoint. It's much faster and more accurate for me on the XP DEUS II. The 9" in coil pinpoints like nobody's business. Excellent machine in iron and trash.
Is this a real, thing?Do you have Pinpoint auto tune ON or OFF?
If you check Deus 2's pinpoint display bottom left corner.....yep.Is this a real, thing?
I tried both.Do you have Pinpoint auto tune ON or OFF?
The Pinpoint audio using my 13X11" coil seems to be softer than using the 9" coil. Maybe it's just my imagination.
I had no choice but to wiggle. I used pinpoint a lot with my Nox 800 to see if there were 2 targets butted up against each other.Totally, wiggle back especially in trash is the way to go
1.1 ended up working for me. If I get the motivation, I'll do a comparison video.Never heard of that problem. I would definitely try to reinstall your software.

Thankfully I am able to recover targets right in the discrimination mode at the beach. No need to use a stinkin pinpoint button. If you check Deus 2's pinpoint display bottom left corner.....yep.
Acts just like mine running 2.0 except I don’t wave the coil really fast over targets in pinpoint mode.
13" coil. Any thoughts?
Yes, but do you have the attenuation in volume with 2.0?Acts just like mine running 2.0 except I don’t wave the coil really fast over targets in pinpoint mode.
Like I said, your video seems to show what I see and hear using 2.0 aside from the incorrect way you were waving targets over the coil.Yes, but do you have the attenuation in volume with 2.0?
LOL, I guess I misplaced my procedural regulation handbook on making machine go beep beep. Sorry boss.Like I said, your video seems to show what I see and hear using 2.0 aside from the incorrect way you were waving targets over the coil.
Page 25 in the manual, first sentence:LOL, I guess I misplaced my procedural regulation handbook on making machine go beep beep. Sorry boss.
The issue is: when using 2.0 the volume, in pinpoint, is almost inaudible.Page 25 in the manual, first sentence:
"PINPOINT mode is used to operate the coil motionless above a target."
Yeah, moving the coil slowly over the target just a bit is going to happen when centering the coil over the target to pinpoint it.
You are reporting an issue with the pinpoint function on Deus 2. Your video did not show an issue. If you made a video with stationary targets and the coil slightly moving up and down over the target I might could understand what you are reporting.
