WOW Jeff, I found my Small Camp last month and thought I was in heaven but I see now that I was just close and you really made it there. Excellent recoveries guys and Glad to see all those buttons being saved. So many of them are deteriorating nowadays.

thank you all for the kind words- we went back again today before the rain and snow and had another awesome day. between both of us, 100+ bullets, 70+ buttons, and many other relics. heres my better buttons and spur. the cuff button is USMA cadet (west point), crazy to find in mid-MO

I was gonna ask if you have found any knives, bayonets, horse stuff, gun parts? You have a killer spot!! Love the spur.
my buddy found the brass barrel band from a Starr carbine gun. We have found a few horse shoes and horse tack iron buckles, but for the most part we haven't even begun to dig all the big iron signals.

definitely virgin, the area is very rocky ground and the majority of the targets are very shallow and spread out over a very large area
