I went out on the hunt again today doing some curb stripping and some door knocking. It was kind of raining/sprinkling out today but I've got a waterproof machine and nothing else to do at the rig but sit around so I ran out of options.

First area I hit were a couple of curbstrips in Ray, ND when the rain wasn't coming down too hard. I got 4 wheats our of there and 3 Silvers (Merc and 2 Rosies). I also got one of those 1963 play money Nickels which fooled me pretty good sitting in the hole.

I hunted those out and decided to do a door knock or two. First one I knocked on I got the okay.
There wasn't much in the very small yard except a clad quarter and dime stuck together and an SLQ!
After that SLQ I kind of said to heck with it since it was getting pretty wet out and my coat was starting to soak through.
Also, I've started a YouTube channel with some of my detecting trips from this year so far.......I don't know if I'm allowed to solicite that on here but I will anyway and if I catch heck from anyone I'll know nor to again.

I checked your YT videos, I like your style and the find 'em dig 'em way you've portrayed. Good job.

Thanks Mark! I really appreciate it! I'm just starting out so I haven't perfected the technique yet but I am going to try to get more close ups on the coins in-situ and maybe some more shots of my surroundings.....I tend to forget that when I'm detecting and all it ends up being so far is me digging up a bunch of silver! I might possibly put some kind of intro together as well but we'll see. I've seen too many YouTubers that have lengthy intros and it kind of is a waste of time.

Yeah skip the cheesy intros unless it's you talking about where your at etc. Most people including myself skip that part unless it's tasteful and brief. I have a channel too. But for the most part we use it to document our finds and to live forever on YouTube lol. Mine is metal detecting Northwestern Wisconsin.

Keep it going I'll stop by and check out your channel!

Thanks man! I subscribed to your channel.....looks like I'm kind of doing the same thing you've got going on. I think I'm going to scratch the fancy Intro idea and just stick to the detecting.
