2011 FMDF Diggin' It With Friends Treasure Hunt

Wow! I just saw this! Thank you so much for the raffle proceeds!! That wasn't expected! I want to let you know how proud I am of you folks... It really means alot to me that you folks are taking part in the ownership and the viability of the program! Thank you all!

We are the ones that need to be thanking you. It's you who recognized a need in your community and your the one who chose to do something about it. You have developed a really great program here and we hope that you will continue to help these young people and their families out during the holiday season. We were lucky enough to have New England Detectors help us out this year in a huge, huge way and we hope that in turn we will be able to help Clad4Kids in much the same way!

Across the United States their are thousands and thousands of charities that all do good things in helping people. Beefcake, you are the only one that I have seen, that has involved the metal detecting community to donate found money to help others who are in need.

Keep doing great things, Thank you!
:urock:

Thanks Andrew! You rock!

BTW, we got our tshirts from FloridaBill, and they look great! Thanks Bill! :D

Thank you bill for doing such a great job with the decals we used this year and it really looks sharp how you integrated it on the sleeve of the shirts!!! You the man Bill!!!

Yeah, detecting has a way to make you REAL hungry.

Hey Dave, when you hear the forecast for that weekend, post it here so we're not packing a bunch of stuff we don't need.

Heck yeah, detecting makes you hungry! But if your like me, you just like to eat.

I'm planning on driving up to Clay Center this coming weekend to take a few pictures of the motel and the park and to get an idea of what we might need. I'll post a weather report as soon as I know what to expect.

Also see if you can spy out a place for breakfast before 7am, because that's what time the motel starts their Continental Breakfast and we'll miss that, so we need coffee and bagles at least!

Do you think that it might be better to meet at the park at a later time? I can check out some of the local restaurants to see what time they start serving breakfast too. What doe's everyone think about starting at 8:00 am?

Did we start at 8 at the last hunt? I think we met at McD's at 7 right?

8 may be better, since some people will be driving in.

It was 8 am this morning when I rolled out of bed ....:extrahappy:
But for the hunt I will make a exception.

Looks like I'm bringing:

potato salad, dill pickles, sweet pickles, and a cake!

Because it is going to be our grandbaby "Kristen Jae's" first birthday! :wish:
