1800's rifle in the pock!

It looks so good because it isn't 1800s or even an old rifle. It is a reproduction of a Remington rolling block by Navy Arms who has had hundreds or thousands made in Italy in the last 30 years. Would make my heart stop for a minute until I saw the Navy Arms mark. I dug a bunch of original Remingtons years back, they were shown in the 1974 Treasure Hunter's Yearbook. Or maybe 1975. The ones I dug were .43 Spanish caliber.

great find. Now don't EVER use DIGGERS lingo on this board again. LOL

Pock.....

Very nice but I will be the one to say if it is a old one that was NOT found in the dirt. It would be rusted to heck.
