You can also get peltor headphones on Amazon for slightly less and they are on prime.
same Mal uses, Done a few sets using these but found the Peltors to be the best for DB rating..

You can get away with the fluorescent light covers which are a clear thin plastic tube. In the light section of Lowes or the depot. I used them early on but found the thicker to be longer lasting..

Could you explain the purpose of the tubbing. Also what part of the headphones to do you attach them to?
