The weather is finally getting better here and got out twice this weekend.
Learning the 800 settings one at a time. Hit the old church Friday afternoon. No high tones in my last four trips, may be finally hunted to a frazzle. So I dug low tones looking for nickels. Only came up with a key, a bunch of very old shotgun brass and two spent rounds. I did find an old button that says miller&bro.
The city closed a local golf course that has been there since the 20's. You can dig clad all day long if you want. I know there is silver there, its just a matter of finding original ground. Had a hard hitting 27 and dug a nice 64D rosie. Got three wheats, 36s, 48d and a 45d. Where there a Wheaties there is silver.
Dug $4.27 in clad. Pretty good day for a 2 hour hunt!
HH!
