Cut my feet off....

Just when I thought I was done modding my ATP I found one more thing to fix...

I cut my useless feet off, you don't need feet of you never touch the ground...

Hoping to make it even easier to swing in deeper water...

Better for where its wetter!!

I got Plugger's aluminum cuff a when I broke my first AT Pro cuff 3 years ago.

No worries with a metal cuff! :cool:

Ice, do you prefer the S-handle shaft when hunting in the water?

I prefer the straight shaft. Interesting mod in removing the feet...I imagine when you water hunt, you've got to think less resistance/drag.

Always thinking Ice. My ATP is too new yet. It would bring a tear to my eye to start sawing away at it. Maybe you could strap a trolling motor to the shaft. Left/right buttons by your thumb. If you get tired you can use it to pull yourself to shore!

I've never used a straight shaft yet so I couldn't tell ya much.. From what I've seen, for the most part, straight shafts usually end up making the machine longer though.. I keep my machine pretty short to keep it easier to swing under water..

Less drag is the key if you want to swing 8-10 hrs in the drink!
