Better than that, and after digging so many I hate that rat.
This is from Showbiz Pizza Place, which eventually turned into the Chuck E. Cheese company but it was a long and winding but interesting road involving Nolan Bushnell of Atari fame, and Robert L. Brock, the largest franchisee of Holiday Inns who founded Showbiz Pizza Place in 1980.
Also Aaron Fechter who invented the Whac-A-Mole game and the animatronic characters featured at Showbiz Pizza Place, (Later Chuck E Cheese's)... The Rock-afire Explosion.
Lawsuits were filed and millions of dollars were made and lost during the late 70's and 80's when arcade games and places like this that featured them were popular and heavily competed.
Interesting story...read it here if you would like.

Short history timeline, here...
http://users.pullman.com/fjstevens/tokens/cec/CECimages/CEChistory.html

Several sizes and a few designs for Showbiz tokens over the years, this is the largest type a 25mm token, no date on these but is probably from the early 80's to 1989.
In 1990 the first joint CEC/Showbiz tokens were issued.

Not worth a lot but my first one and considering the history and the rarity in my collection compared to those CEC tokens I find I am glad I dug it.
Better than digging trash, at least.
