I have always had a strong interest in the 1904 Worlds Fair held in St.Louis, with several items
in my home from the fair, but until today (Friday) I've never found anything directly linked to the fair
with my metal detector. Friday 10-24-2014 was my lucky day...

Too Cool A next door neighbor and childhood friends works at the Univ of Washington at St. Louis and told me like the old ferris wheel is like buried on the campus. Really cool find.

The Ferris Wheel was really amazing. It held over 2000 people at the same time, each car was the size of a bus and there were 36 of them. The 70 ton axle is thought to be under the golf course in forest park across the street from Washington University College.
