Picked up my second silver for 2014, second silver coin ever (picked up a war nickel last year).

It was muddy! Had fun though and will go back. Always hope for gold, but the silver put a smile on my face. :)

Found a "Hawthorne No 16 Long Range" headstamp, Montgomery Ward brand from what I could determine.

Found a couple lures or parts of, piece of costume jewelry, lead of course, and some clad.

Cheers and have fun out there!

Congrats on the Rosie! Looks like it's in good condition too. Sounds like a nice hunt. Cool pics by the way. Like your closeups.

x2 what camera do you use?

Thanks!

Pics are with my iPhone 4, but I hold a 5x magnifier up against the camera lens :)

I have a loupe that has two 5x lenses in it so you can do 5x or 10x.

Thanks for the kind words everone, was nice to finally find a silver coin again.
