Garrett's (White's) GoldMaster 24K gold prospecting/micro jewelry detector is now officially for sale on Garrett's website. Some very good videos have been added for instructional purposes for the 24K with DetectorProspector.com's owner/administrator Steve Herschbach doing the instruction on most of them.

Anyone wanting to learn how to prospect for shallower/smaller gold with a higher frequency capable VLF detector can learn plenty from these videos even if they don't have a 24K.

Kudos to Garrett for basically rebadging the White's 24K and adding some nice rechargeable batteries. The 24K is a really great detector and preserves White's product line for the future.

So Garrett acquires Whites, and their Whites Goldmaster GMT 24K metal detector, and it's now available as the Garrett Goldmaster 24K. Didn't see this coming. Is there going to be anything different on the Garrett, or is it just all cosmetic (name change)?

All I can say is, it comes with the White's user manual. So I think it will be the same. Hopefully they sell a lot of this. May be some more >>White's<< to come from Garrett (would be nice).
