On a family trip to Wisconsin and my amazing wife dropped me off at a site I've researched and took the kids to a playground.
Luckily with only two hours to detect I found my first Wisconsin silver. I know mercs are easy picking in many parts of the country but where I'm from in Texas I get a Merc once every two or three years.
They were not easy signals... Mixed with iron I used the quick mask feature on etrac to single each coin out from the scrap metal and found them all about 6-8" under fill dirt, in the original gravel that was once a parking area I suspect.
Cheers and happy hunting.
