Hey guys,


I went out hunting today and I found $6.20 in clad. I have passed $900 in total clad for 2020! I am hoping that I will reach $1,000 again this year. It is getting tough to find the real clad lately. Many of the parks and schools are drying up! :(

I found a cool silver ring today too! It came in at 8g and was about 4 inches down right next to a sidewalk. 32 on my Nox 800

Yeah, the schools are drying up, the parks aren't being used for kiddie-sports, and the fairs, parades, carnivals, festivals and various markets/swap meets are either cancelled, reduced or going cashless. I don't have any beaches to hunt either. It's getting tough to find clad. I'm at $1500 the end of last month, but I got lucky this summer with a couple of target sites. I'm not likely to hit the goal I set before the virus shut down life-in-the-clad-lane either. Even six bucks a hunt is getting hard to find.
Hang in there. Just a c-note (5 pounds or so) to reach your goal. With 3 1/2 months to go, you'll get it and then some.

I can't imagine being able to find that much clad....there has to be some serious skill involved! Congrats!
I went to a park in the bad part of town last week. Found fresh clad drops everywhere but had to pee so bad I ended up having to leave. Of course right before I left I found a wheatie, a 1926! DOH!

I've fixed that problem by carrying a gatorade (or powerade) bottle with me. I drink the bottle, then fill it back up at the truck. LOL (Note: it's a one time use...)

The "wide mouth" ones are easiest to use... just sayin'. And keep your back to the world, when the door is open.

Nobody thinks twice if you dump out a yellow gatorade, or put it in the trash. Hee Hee!b:laughing::laughing:

Hey there! Thanks! I had a video ready to go but I am still learning how to shoot video. I got a GOPRO chest strap and had my camera on it. My digging sessions were a little off. You could not see what I was doing. I had an intro and a wrap up all ready to go. I don't know, I need to zoom out of my digs. Not sure how to do that on the camera. Maybe I should stick with a tripod?

Be great to get you out and do some hunting. You were really hitting some good clad and rings!

Massive ring! Congrats on the clad count, hard to do anymore what with the boogie man shutting down good hunting sites.
