Since no one asked, here are my thoughts....
1 - I had no idea there were so many experts on here in a variety of fields ranging from masks, infectious diseases, vaccines, etc - I am impressed.
2 - If you think it is foolish to get the vaccine, no one on here will be able to change your mind.
3 - If you think it is foolish not to get the vaccine, no one on here will be able to change your mind.
4 - If you read the posts on a metal detecting forum, and base your health decisions on what you have read, that is a little scary.
5 - If you believe someone should be punished for not agreeing with you, that is a little disturbing.
6 - I have friends and family that have made different choices, and I do something radical- I treat them the same and respect their decision. (I know - crazy.)
Anyway, please continue with the "debates", I find it quite entertaining.

I got my vaccine way back in April/May. I live with multiple family members in the high risk category, and my daughter has had respiratory issues in the past. I wore a mask everyday for a good year, or until the mandate was lifted. I now only wear a mask if I feel I cant keep a safe distance from others, so not very often. I worry about the little ones though. Just got an email the other day, for the 2021-2022 school year they are going 100% capacity, 3 ft distances, and no masks. I work at a college and here they have dropped basically all restrictions, but all employees are being asked to get vaccinated, though I dont think its mandatory yet. The numbers are going back up, so it will be interesting to see what happens from here in terms of mandates and restrictions. Pretty sure this country cant afford another shutdown though. We are still recovering from the first. I feel like the uncertainty of side effects is just an excuse to not get the vaccine at this point. People just naturally, love to be different. If you see everyone driving a blue car, dont you automatically want to get red, just to be different? I know I do. Apples to oranges, but you catch my drift. IMO, this anti-vaccine rebellion is just getting old, and is costing this country big time. We are at the top of the list for worldwide cases and deaths, and this thread is showing us exactly why!
