Great weekend hunt

MoBob and I hit our spot we hunted last time, in search of more relics. We hunted pretty much all day Saturday. We searched out to try to expand the area but found almost nothing outside of the honey hole. So we hit it hard and got some more good finds. I'm posting on my cell while on the road for work, and just realized I don't have a pic of my finds. But here is the best of Bob's. If anyone can help with an ID on the last pic we would appreciate it. The bad news is the landowners went to Texas and we can only hunt when they are home. GL and HH. Chip and Bob

Congrats buddy! Looks like now we both have something to look for next time we get down there -- the rest of your stirrup and the S half of my belt plate.

I bet they are both in there. But, man, we have a lot of trash to search through to find them :laughing:

Nice ID on the stirrup. You guys in Missouri? I went hunting in Clarance, Missouri some years ago. About 50 miles northwest of Hannibal, if I remember correctly

I should have clarified that statement. I went Deer hunting in Clarance, Missouri. Didn't even have a metal detector with me then.

I did get one but it wasn't that big. LOTS of coyotes and turkeys there, also
