Hi everyone. Not brand new to detecting but not a seasoned pro either. Been missing the hobby ever since I gave my son my old Whites Classic II. So I recently purchased a Fisher 1280X and I am waiting to receive it. I hope to learn some things on here. My other hobby is diecast cars, mainly Hot Wheels.

Welcome from Michigan. I find a lot of Hot Wheels at the beach. Got 2 in one hole the other day. They are usually in rough shape. Not a great beach toy and they ring up nice.
