Voyageur Creek Hunt

This is the 2nd half of a creek hunt we did last week. This site is very special. It was at a location where the voyageurs put their canoes back in the water after a long portage. 1700's on. It was also the site of the first boarding house in our little city 1880. It was then followed up by the railroad going through this same site a few years later and blowing up the dam the voyageurs had used for hundreds of years. Lots of history to be found here from 3 very historic time periods. Come see what we find.
