my fisher 1236 sensitivity knob seems very loose,could be a loose nut behind it. question, will that knob come off if i pull on it ,so i can tighten the nut behind it. i was pulling on it already, but did not want to pull too hard in case it does not come off like a knob on a radio...just want to make sure before i pull any harder.
question on fisher 1236 ???

I can't swear to this, but you may find there is a cap on the knob, which prizes off to reveal a screw underneath ?
Otherwise there could be a tiny screw in the side of the knob, which locates on the flat of the control spindle. ?
Failing that, it probably just pulls off.
