Sterling Spoon From My New Permission

Along with the 1822 large cent I found at my new permission, I dug this sterling silver spoon with a "C" engraved on it. Don't know how old it could be

Nice spoon! There should be hallmarks or some sort of makers mark you can research to get an age range. Good luck!

Cool! There should be some sort of hallmarks. I've only ever found plated ones. I like yours! Nice find.

Congrats on the find. Spoons are always a pleasant surprise. Check the back, should be hallmarks or the maker's name.

I’ve been lucky to find several sterling spoons but it’s always a heartbreaker to see RodgersBros stamped on them.

I have been fortunate enough to find several pieces of silver flatware too but I have never found one in such good condition, I think the winters here in the Northeast make the ground expand and contract bending them all up. That’s a beauty you got there, Nice chunky piece of sterling, Congrats!
