I went out after work today. With the nice dry weather I thought they would have mowed the hay on a site I have hunted, but they didn’t. So I tried a different site. I have found several colonial coppers and kg2 at this site. But this site has some problems to start the field is in corn. It only has a small patch of grass around the edge. The power lines makes it very hard to detect. Tonight none of that mattered. The best part was for some reason there was no emi tonight at all. As I walked along the grass I saw the farmer recently run a sprayer thru. It run down a path out in the field. So I went in. Am I glad I did! I started with digging my first cut silver. After that I didn’t even notice there was any corn around. Than a piece of a shoe buckle, my first kg3 farthing 1793, some Tom back buttons, a complete thimble and a first and my favorite a revolution war USA button.
I can’t wait for this fall when the corn comes down.
I was excited so so of the pic aren’t turn the correct direction sorry.
