New Sunray Headphones

I got a set about a month ago.

Used the originals about 5 years and started having issues with them. I will fix the originals then use them as a backup set.

What questions do you have?

Do the new Sunrays sound as good? Do they keep out noise as well?

If you have the universals, what machine are they on?

I used the originals on the CTX, Etrac, Soverign Gt and the Nox. I always use a the wireless module on the ctx and the nox. On the Etrac I plugged them direct into the machine. I use them for coin hunting and recovery calls.

I do like the new headphones better. They fit my big head better. The ear muffs feel nicer than the old pair I have. I think they keep the outside sound down about the same. The add says they have a 2 db more reduction than the originals.

From what I can tell, they use the same speaker element and they sound the same.

The ad for them list a bunch of upgrades they did from the originals. I personally like them and don't have any complaints.

I got the new set from Big Boys and had them a couple days after ordering them.
